Hydroscand UK opens a brand new branch in Bristol

2017-08-01

On the 19th of June, Hydroscand UK opened their new branch in Bristol. It's an important establishment in a key location in the area.

The opening comes after months of planning and searching for the perfect location. Based on the Avonmouth Trading Estate just off of the busy M5 motorway, they are conveniently placed close to the docks, and can easily serve the whole of Bristol and the surrounding areas.

The branch manager, Ben Embling, has done a fantastic job in choosing a great location and getting the branch up and running, along with help from the Plymouth and Gloucester managers Ben Curnow and Nick Thomas.

Notably Ben Curnow has spent a lot of his own time kitting out the new HoseExpress van which saw him stripping the van down and prepping it for paint, as well as building it all back up including the on-board workshop. Ben has done a brilliant job with kitting out the van, doing all of the work himself he has made this the lightest full size HoseExpress van in the UK.

This means that they can carry a total of 750kg of stock, which is a staggering 350kg extra when compared to the UK’s previous lightest HoseExpress van.

This is an exciting time for Hydroscand UK and it comes after a recent restructure which saw the sale of 3 branches and the closure of 2, however this has enabled them to focus on key locations around the country with Bristol being the first.
