The environment is an indispensable resource and as part of our environmental work, we have reviewed the transportation methods from our Italian suppliers.
The goods have previously been sent by truck every week to Hydroscand in Sweden from our suppliers in Italy. Today all our shipments from Italy arrive by train. All suppliers send their goods to a central dispatch point where the goods are packed and transported by train to Sweden. This new transport system has reduced Hydrocands CO2 emissions on shipments from Italy by almost 40%.
