Hydroscand Norway has entered into a lease agreement for a larger facility, of over 2,000 m2, for production and store at Mongstad north of Bergen. This is part of our investment in the Energy segment, and will give us a strategic presence at the largest HUB for oil/gas in Norway.
The department will be a combination of Hydroscand branch, with service and store, and a production center for supply, liquid mud and bunkering hoses in larger dimensions. This production is available to the entire Hydroscand Group worldwide.
The branch will be run in collaboration between Energy and Region West, and we are currently in the process of hiring a branch manager. The branch will offer the following functions to our customers:

Mongstad
In the Mongstad industrial area, there are currently around 3,000 jobs spread across around 100 businesses. The largest player is Equinor, which runs the refinery, with around 1,000 employees.
The Mongstad base is a supplier-managed supply base for approx. 20 installations for Equinor, Wintershall and others operating on the Norwegian continental shelf. Hence several drilling companies such as Transocean, Stena Drilling, Odfjell, KCA, COSL and others. There is also a lot of other industry in the local area that are in our target groups.
